I am considering this for low light autofocus:

'Photo'graphy is about light. You may get the focus and the shot. Yet if the subject is 15' away your pict will still be underexposed. 10' is barely ok for the on-board flash. With ext flash you have longer range but still with a limit. As AZrick has said. Distance is the key.
