Default K-X question

when taking a picture, is it normal for it to be a bit slow before it shows on the lcd... not quick like a point and shoot? what card size should one have for this camera?

If you are shooting with liveview. All dslr will be slow showing the photo on the lcd. That is normal.

no not live view. just reg pictures....it didn't matter wether it was manual focus or auto .. when i took a picture it would take 4-5 sec to appear on the lcd screen. when i grabbed my f70 exr and took a pic it was pretty much instant on the lcd after i took the pic. i have a sdhc 4gb class 6 card so i figured it was a good enough card to process it to the card...

was it a long exposure shot? if you are shooting a long exposure on a tripod, the delay could be the black frame subtraction.

After you shot the photo. Did you try pushing the play button? To see if it comes up faster.

very strange, because it normally shows up in a sec or 2.
