New to the forum and would like to say whats up to everyone. I just bought the pentax optio 30 and the LCD is rather grainy. Especially when zooming in on pictures. However the pictures it takes are still very good. The reason I am asking is because my olympus c-4000's LCD is very crisp and clear. Any other owners have this problem? Is it just my camera? Hope to hear from all owners.

Steve's reviews give you the answer.

Olypmus C4000: 1,8" LCD - 110'000 Pixels

Optio 30: 1,6" LCD - 85'000 Pixels

I think you compare two cams which do not play in the same league.

Regards Mark

i have an OPTIO 30

but only when you go over the "white line" and get into digital zoom territory does it go grainy

other than that mine appears pretty clear(surprising when you consider its only 85k :-)

but as HAPPY says "there not in the same league"

(as far as that goes that is)

cheers
