Default 430RS quality?

I like the size, relative speed, and many of the features of the Pentax 430RS, but I'm having trouble making sense of the widely varying reviews I've seen. One person says, "avoid, images are fuzzy" another says "the 330 images are better," and others say it's the best point and shoot (with added features) regardless of price."

Are those who have fuzzy images just not getting something right?

Alternative question: is there a better choice that has this same form factor, speed, and (relative) flexibility?

DrBob

I am having the same problems as you (varying reviews of 430RS and uncertain whether to commit).

The other models I have been looking at with the same form factor and at least as good stats are the Olympus D-40Z and the new D-50Z model which is about to come out in November in Europe (not sure when its coming out in US) to replace the D-40Z

Hope this helps
