I am thinking of buying an S5i but have been worried by some reviews saying that the color, though accurate, is probably more naturalistic and less saturated (is that the term?) than other compact digital cameras.

I am definitely in the fuji as opposed to Kodak camp with color - I like colors vivid and colorful!

Do any owners of the S5i (or the s4i as I assume it's similar) have any opinions in comparing your shots to friends?)

Have a look at my latest shots from the Carnival of Basel taken with my S4i. The weather and other conditions were not the best for the colors. No sun, white sky, freezing cold, some snow flakes and fast moving objects.
I did some auto treatment on Photoshop Elements.
