Hello everyone.
My friend has an Optio s4i and I really like it. I looked into purchasing one, but it looks like I could get an s5 for about the same price. My question, are there any features in the s4i that the s5 lacks? Is there any reason why I shouldn't just step up to the s5?
Thank you for your help.
Eddie

It's generally better to buy the latest version of anything. The most obvious difference between those two cameras is that the newer one will be 5mega pixels, wheras the old one was 4.

The mpeg4 is also a important feature of the sn5.
I think it's the only of his category (even with biggers cam, mpeg4 is rare).
It's why i'll choose it, but wait yet some video samples... (Steve what are you doing? ^^)
You can have 40mn of tv quality video on a 1gb card! A real auxiliary video camera.

i think the only difference is the megapixels.pic quality of s4i is more or less the same with s5i. i would go for s5i though. like some people here, i want the latest.

by the way, if you can afford the s5n, get it. i think the pic quality is the same with s5i. the good thing about the s5n is the mpeg4 movie feature. the movie output is great! it's like having a digicam and a mini camcorder with you.
