Pentax 750Z - TIFF format uncompressed or loss-less???

i.e. better than J-PEG lossy compression ???

Because I know TIFF is simply a fileformat packager. The undernlying compression algorithms can vary a lot.

Thanks!

TIFF is lossless, but it will be virtually indistinguishable from JPEG in *** quality on the 750Z. Not very useful, IMO - providing a RAW mode would have been preferable.

Thx Yukon for your advice!

I bought the 750z finally.

Sorry, self-answering question - found it to be really uncompressed TIFF at 22MB.

Taking 10sec to save 1 shot.
