I just picked up an Optio S6 and when I turned it on, I noticed a little red dot on the screen. I turned it of and back on again, but the dot was still there. Could it be a dead pixel? If so, should I send it back?

The external build on this camera is georgous with it's 200,000 pixel 2.5 inch monitor, however I found the picture quality from this camera to be very disappointing. The 640X480 video clips are a joke, they almost look like 320X240 and there is a loud click at the end of every video because of the noisy shutter button. The still pictures blur very easy in low light. Pentax's older Optio S5n model takes better pictures. I returned my Optio S6.

BTW the red dot is a dead pixel. The red subpixel is stuck on.
