Godfather-

The easiest and fastest way to vary the shutter speed on the Pentax S5i is to adjust the ISO.

Also You can lower EV by -1 stop- so the picture gets darker but shutter faster- and less possibility for picture blurring and post-processing can help You out.

Best, JR

How does adjusting the ISO setting adjust the shutter speed?

I am getting annoyed about the ammt of blur that my s5i produces with every shot.

It's also next to impossible to get it to focus in any dark situation.

One other thing - how can I up the shutter speed in Night Mode? My brother's older Optio (3MP) takes better night mode shots than my s5i !!
