When taking a picture with soft flash does anyone ever get an opaque spot. I am trying to figure out where this comes from as I'm not seeing it all the time

How large are the spots? I haven't had this problem with the W10, but I rarely use flash. With another camera, I used to get white spots when the flash reflected off dust motes in the air. This is one of the problems with having the flash too close to the lens.

However, if the spots are very small, like one pixel, or even a group of maybe four pixels, and they are consistently in the same location in every shot (you'll only notice them when the background is dark), stuck pixels might be to blame. My first W10 did have two stuck pixels. I returned it to the store, where it was cheerfully exchanged for another W10 without stuck pixels.

I does not appear in the same place in every shot. nor does it happen every time. i am wondering if it is the situation you are talking about with dust. what can be done to combat this
