Well I got my Pentax Optio S6 about 4 months ago,
I love it, and it's been takeing some really nice shots.
After takeing a few the other day, I woke up this morning
turned it on and it made a wierd beep, not the beep that
usualy happens when you turn it on. and it wont focus.
I try holding the button down to focus it, but it makes
a wierd noise like a beep, and doesnt focus.hopefully
I can take it in with the warrenty when I get home. any
one have any Ideas? not focusing? thanks

A good first step with most camera problems is to make sure a setting isn't causing the issue.

It's also possible that a battery or memory card is causing the problem, so try different ones if you have spares.

You'll find a Reset menu choice in your Setup menu that will reset it back to factory defaults.

Thanks, I gave that a try. and it didnt fix the problem. It still wont focus.
but it can still take pictures and I can still view my recently taken pictures.
maybe a focus gear fell apart or something?
