Default Baby Boy Model Shots

I have some friends that would like see about getting their 1 year old son into modeling. They've contacted a couple photogs and have quotes, but since I'm a family friend, they would like to use me to do his first head shots. This is not something I've done before, so I'm looking for advice on what types of shots I should do, anything I should definitely NOT do, etc. Any examples of shots would be much appreciated.

If they are serious about wanting to get their child into modeling. Then they should take up the offers from of the professional photographers that have experience in this area to take the headshots they plan to send to the modeling agencies.

This however can be a great learning tool for you as well. I am sure they would be open to you shooting some extra shots for his portfolio as well. And since they are friends, this could be an opportunity for you to learn as a photographer and for their son to become more comfortable in front of the camera.

I just would not agree to take the important headshots that will be sent to agencies until you have some experience as a photographer.
