i am trying to find my favorite shot (compositionally and visually) from 2006 to make me a huge poster for my room. I try to do this every year. I'm posting this on a few different forumns here among other places to get others ideas.

i guess what i'm asking, is which is the best overall image. i might compete with it as well, but i mainly want a poster to both take to the next concert for the guys (they are the Flecktones (victor wooten the bassist) in february to autograph and to give to them to keep.

thanks so much, and have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

thank you all so much. as you can tell, i was closest to Victor Wooten, and I'm HUGE HUGE HUGE fan of his. He's one of the nicest guys, and just an amazing player.

Merry Christmas everyone.

A good series here..... what kit are you using?

Personally I really like the last one as it is very moody and the sort of thing that would not look out of place as a CD cover or possibly a poster :blah:

Great series, JedMag! I am huge fans also, and haven't seen these guys in while. Was Roy there on the Drum-i-tar or have they abandoned that? I have front row seats at the Ann Arbor Folk festival in January and I hope I can get some crisp ones. 4 & 5 really stand out for me. Good work & thanks-- Scott

oh, ol' futureman was definitely there. he was on the opposite end, but my lens wouldn't reach that far

i was using my canon 350d with sigma 18-50mm 2.8 EX DC

thanks for all the great comments and compliments. i really do appreciate them.

i get my brand new 70-200mm 2.8 IS USM in tomorrow , so the flecktones concert in st. louis (same venue as these) will be fun to shoot

can't wait

Shot 4 really jumped out at me, my only critique is that I wish his eyes were open. My second choice would be #6. Nice shots, BTW.
