[size=2][color=red]Taken in the late afternoon in a park in Southern California. Subjects had been there awhile. I really wanted to capture their moment without disturbing them. They seemed to be in their own little world and I hoped they would be oblivious to me. Anwyay, the setting seemed perfect and I was looking to capture the 'softness' of the moment. I set the contrast and sharpness levels to low, held the camera around chest high and fired off couple of shots. No post-processing was done except for a bit of cropping.

Equipment: Digilux 2, f/2.4, 1/1300 sec.

This almost looks like Mac Arthur Park in Los Angeles... but of course it probably is someplace else- I haven't been there for over 20 years, just going on memory.

Too bad you couldn't get closer, it's hard to see their faces in the shadow. But this kind of shot will always be difficult to get exposed right so, not bad.
