Default Easter in the desert camps (CP5700)

Hi everybody

I haven't been posting for a while - simply because I had nothing worth posting.

But I spent Saturday and Easter Sunday with one of the workers from school, at his home in a displaced (refugee) camp about 47km from Khartoum.

Here's the gallery:

I'm gonna get some sleep and then I'll add some notes to the pics to give a bit of context. As ever, it would be great to hear your views.

Wonderful series, Tiggy.

This viewer deeply appreciates your efforts to show
another side of the world at large.

As always, Tiggy, your photos are wonderful. Particularly noticeable in this series is the contrast of old and new. For instance, in "Vain Donkey," a man in modern dress sits in an old-fashioned donkey cart, something obviously still used for transportation. Simply great stuff.

Truly wonderful photos, as always. Khartoum seems like a very nice place with very nice people living there.
