Good work Frank. I know theres been a lot of discussion on lighting. I read it all with interest. When I see your work, I really study your shots. I look to see how your choice of lighting affects the shot, and the truth is one picture really is worth a thousand words. Thanks...

Question on number 3...

Explain the set up...was it totally dark with just a light from behind?

How did you position that light?

Thanks!

Hi,
It doesn't have to be totally dark, but here it was :D.
When choosing the correct flashoutput and aperture you can even pull this off in a normal darkened room.

I positioned one flash with barndoors and a grid behind the model that's really all :D.
Actually really simple.
The only thing you have to take care off is that there is no overshoot behind the model so choose your position very carefull.

Greetings,
Frank
