Totaly unplanned and spontanious shoot.
Was there for some news photography when het mother asked me to shoot the Pony and her daughter.

I liked the outcome :-)

I agree with the others about the second shot. The first one is really good except that it creates the illusion (for me, anyway) that the horse's head has no body connected to it. It took me a bit of time to discover just how that horse was standing.

lol! same thing here...i was looking....and wondering why you'd cut the body off in photoshop.......lol then i saw the little hints that it went behind her, lol

Second one's a winner.

For future reference (something cowboy43 told me that works really well) Is if you are going to photograph a horse eaither have it have nothing on, or it's finest tack such as a silver show halter, or a nice polished leather halter. The nylon sometimes takes away from the natural beauty.

Those are wonderful pictures! You really do amaze me!
