Default fashion

one of a couple of photos i took for a girls fashion degree work

what do you think?

Default not something I would wear

Interesting clothes, I have never done fashion photography before so please excuse my uneducated comments. I would suggest that as the clothes are the main subject of the photographs that a tighter crop would be more appropriate with the first. Also to emphasis the great colours of the clothes I would have chosen a blander background to make them stand out more. (Even changing the background to B&W)

But I do like the poses that you have the models in & the railings in the second picture compliment it well, good job - I hope your friend was pleased with the results (& her tutor!)

Default Need more light

A lot of the clothes detail is lost in the shadows in the second pic.

I like the first one though maybe a crop closer to the CAFE lettering might cut out a little excess on the left. A less slouching pose may show off the shirt a little better too (the shirt is 'tented' on his right breast so a shadow is cast onto his stomach which obscures the patterns on the shirt)

Then again, I'm not a fashion photographer either.
