Default Friends for coffee (Ethiopian style)

Well, on Sunday a group of us were invited to the home of one of the cleaners, a really sweet lady, called Workie for a meal.

Workie is Ethiopian - so we ate the usual engera and chicken in berbere spices. Then Workie got out the full kit and made us traditional Ethiopian coffee, which is very different from Nescafe! My friend Ed was observing closely. His desired intention this summer is to make Ethiopian coffee in the garden for his family, after he completes a trans-siberian rail journey!

Here's the pic. I had to do some work on it (including neat image to remove noise).

Any comments warmly welcome

Wonderful "contrasts", Tiggy...

The dignity of your subject in her very humble home really
shines in your photo.

I loved this shot. The lighting is beutifull. Very soft and natural. With this kind of light I hope you shot some more shots. Some portraits would have looked great. I really like it.
