Quite different from your usual pics, but just as informative as always

It is not often that we get to go inside a workplace such as a foundry, and see the dangerous conditions that men [usually] work under - and your pics certainly bring out the heat & sweat etc. of the foundry

What metals were they working with? ... steel / brass / ?

It's quite different pictures from regular one. But the first one the effects of the heat you had given is awesome. I loved to see all these pictures.

They where casting cast Iron phil
