I am surprised there is no comment on this great project of yours.

Wow. I don't see how you could improve on what I consider some of the best of the best I have seen posted here.

Awesome!

Actually,judging frommy observation during my membership here, which enabled me to witnesshis steep curve, artistic merits in Matt has brought himsomewhere which I'd call no less than that of an artist's while he's still young : )I could even say; having fullfilled the existing ones, he's someone to be able to invent his own techniqueonly to be able to conveyan impression of his!

Ah, I wish I could havegiven my father such apresent on his birthday the day before...

@Matt
A very interesting image, indeed. I've browsed your blog a bit and there are some inspiring photos... thanks for sharing.

I am a bit puzzled about the amount of detail in your shots, even in the small images - is this a special technique? For me when resizing images the detail mostly gets lost which is dissappointing to say the least. I'd be interested to get some directions on how to improve in that department.

Regards,
Th.

@Bahadir, very kind comments, although I do admit that my improvements in photography are largely down to the very helpful advice provided on this forum, a great deal of which has been provided by your kind self!

@thkn777, regards the sharpness and detail in the shot, I think this is largely a result of the lens i used, which was a Nikon Prime, the fixed focal length certainly helps produce pin sharp images!
