Default Just fiddlin'

Had lunch with family at the end of the Huntington Beach pier (Ruby's). Walking back we saw (and heard) this fellow playing simple tunes on his violin. Of course, at his feet was a cup for donations.

G'day Walter
Over 100 views and no reply - pretty poor from our fellow photographers

The shot seems to me to be one of those you / I / we all take from time to time as a grab shot for memories, rather than a family keepsake. As such you have done well, as I can see the environment and imagine the coins accumulating in his donations cup

Possibly less DoF might make a difference, but I wouldn't worry too much
Hope this helps

Nice shot Walter.

I agree with Ozzie_Traveller on the DoF and the image may be ever so slightly over exposed. I think with a less visible background we would have more attention on the musician.
