Kam.....

Kameron, the last of my four kids. He'll leave home after this summer to pursue his own course in life. I admit, ma and I will be searching for our own meaning.....
I won't waste this last chance to enjoy him fully, daily. With that, we didn't get the boat in the water till well after 7PM, but living on an island, on the water, the time it takes to get to the "fishing grounds", is only mere minutes, so, what the heck.

Didn't take too many shots, as holding a pole with slippery fish slimed hands, and a camera to boot, just becomes more a task than pleasure....

I got this silhouette like shot of him reeling in a fish with the everlasting glow of a pacific northwest sunset upon him. What do you think?

And the sun about to dip behind the point where we live, well after 9PM....

I really like it (# 1)...but I like striking photos with simple composition. I like the darkened silhouette of your son, the glint of the sun on the fishing rod. I think this is a keeper for you and your family...a frame worthy, photo that will continue to evoke pleasant memories, for your family....now and in in years to come.

Both shots are excellent, but the silhouette of your son is something special. I really like the progress of the light along the rod, leading into the hands.

That first one is really amazing - I love it! Perhaps because we are a fishing family, also. :D
