A pic I snapped with my 70-200 f4 L (canon 350d body). This is of my gf as she is getting ready to board the plane for a trip to Chicago, Memorial day weekend.

Tell me how to make it better =) Thanks

As for a technical critique, I'm not sure....

One what I DO KNOW that could make it better is to jump up there and take the trip with her.

Lovely woman and lucky guy.

Get rid of the empty space above her & move her to the side...rule of 3rd's (also removes the distracting antenna).

I kinda like her the way she is.

I did notice that she's standing on the wing of an airplane wearing a top that has anchors on it. That constitutes a mixed theme, doesn't it?

BTW, nice shot, but I prefer the crop posted by Kalypso the Super Moderator.

scag,I feel the shadow on the wing is a distracting element in whole composition. Is it the tail part of the plane or somebody is standing at the tail part???

yea, that bothered me too. It was actually her dad, the pilot. The shot wasnt really staged, we were just loading up and I was going w/ the flow....had I had more time I hope I would have realized the shadow and taken a few more. Oh well.
