Sorry, but I just wanted to see if it worked to put a picture inside the forum here.....

If you see a picture could you please say, "yay" ???

Much appreciated :)

No, sorry.

However, I've checked the image property and your image url is

If I click on it, the url doesn't point to an image.
It point to a Server error page of the imagestations site.

Probably this is the url u see in your browser and it works for you cause you probably have some cookie the site has silently set to your browser while you were navigating it.

Other people will no be able to use that URL.

It's a form of image protection some web site use.

Well, not exactly.
The image is an imagestation site image that says that you are trying to access the image from outside imagestation.

I looked again at the URL of the img.

I put it on the adress field of my browser and .... NICE KID !

Strangely , but this is due to browser cache, if I now look again at the forum I can see your photo correctly.
But I think that other people will see the imagestation site image.

Try to clean up the cache of your browser, close it, restart it and go directly to the forum.
Maybe you will see it.

Ahh, I clicked on the URL of my post and....
this is what i See !!!!

Soundengineer Jun 27, 2003 5:30 PM

Very strange indeed....
um....what is a cache? And how do I tidy it up?

brtsergio Jun 27, 2003 5:49 PM

Cache is a "special" area where your browser stores images downloaded from the net.
When u access a page the browser first checks if there are url to images and if the images have already been downloaded ( and stored in the cache ).
If a stored image exists browser avoids a new download from the network and directly "uses" this cache image.

This mechanism speeds up your internet browsing cause u have not to redownload everything everytime u look again at the same page.

This is the reason why accesing a post with a photo (just to mention an example) takes time the very first time and is much more faster the next ones.

How to clean the cache ?
This tutorial looks like being helpful (if u are using explorer):,...+13823,00.html

hehe, well, thankyou for the advice again, Sergio. I actually did know what that was, but I have never called it a cache before. And I usually go to empty it via c-disk, windows, temp....which is a much more complicated way to do it compared to the easy way showed in that tutorial.
hehe, so thankyou....I love to learn new things.
Unfortunately that did not solve my problem of posting pictures here in the forum :(
