Hi all,

Fortunately the weather was nice for us as October in England can be a bit of a pain so I managed to get some nice shots for the B&G. This is the closest wedding I've done so far with the reception only 20 mins from my house so that was nice too.

As usual any C&C welcome.

4 A funny one with the ring refusing to go on the finger :-)

I like #3 very much. Nothing against the other three - good lighting and stuff... but #3 is special.

Thanks, I rarely do b/w conversions but I think I should do them more often as I like the way this came out.

Keep getting drawn back to #1, strange as it may seem that despite all that space, the couple suddenly appear to fill the frame and become the central focus. Great lighting and a good set.

Good photo's Mark...Lighting is right, DOF is good, and of course the smiles and composition is good...The one little comment I have is with photo #1...I would photoshop out the people along the shore line...Make the shot look as if the bride and groom are out there alone...Very nice....

I like them all. They're very creative, well light.....wish you had been taking our wedding pictures, but that was 25 years ago.

Thanks all for your kind words.

Swaagate, it's one of my favorite techniques that I'm still trying to get better at to get a nice scenic shot while keeping the couple central. To get the lighting like this I'm slightly under exposing for the sky and then using the flash to pull back the subject.

John, I was undecided whether or not the people added or detracted as when taking it I was annoyed they were there (how dare they enjoy the beach on a Saturday LOL) so I will probably offer both options to the customer.

Lesmore, I would love to have done your photos but not sure how good I was at shooting when only 8 years old ;).
