managed to squeeze in a few quick play shots today. Going to try some proper shots tomorrow.

Im loving the 350

And too my amazmnt, no sharpening done to these shots. Actually pretty much nothing really done to these shots. Pretty much straight out of the cam. Did a little bit of levels tweaks and resized.

and there it is........ your entry with new cam......

an outside shoot... good choice to test camera where is lot of light.....

well it looks good allready.... nice clean shoots.....

seams to me that I see new hair-cut.... look fashionable to me...... very nice.....

#2 looks really that way...fashion and nice conversion

Others are also very nice........ improvement allready seenable......

VEry nice light on #1... like it

For the shoots like #1 keep blurring your background as much possible as could

keep posting.....

Hi Zak

yes indeed it is a new hair cut and i like it very much

thanks for feedback mate. At the mo im still using the kit lese 18-55 and this was taken in Av mode so it was @ f5.6 i think so it was the most shallow dof i could get.

Im might buy the f1.8 lens today and give that a test run

thanks for comments mate,

we might do some shots today and put a bit more thought into them.

will se how the day pans out

thanks again

ken

Very nice shots and pretty model. I like number 1 & 4 the best...soft light & shadows.

Great shots. What type of editing did you do in #4 to make her skin look so smooth?

I like 1 and 4 the best.

Umm just used ps cs2. Used a quick mask to mask up the skin i wanted to smooth. Excluding nose, ears etc, where i want to keep detail. once selected just used a feather radius of 50pixels to make it blend with the unaltered skin. Used the "median" noise option rather than the "gaussian" blurring option which is traditionally used. I think it gives a much more natrual blend of shades. and then just played with the smoothing. In this shot i pushed it quite high just to see how it looked. To try to minimise the plastic skin look, while the mask is still selected just added about 2% mono noise and what this does is it creates the illusion of slight texture which makes it look more skin like. When i get home i will post a portion of the full res version and you will see what i mean. it looks alot more convincing than straight smooth plastic lookingh skin

thanks for looking and the comments

ken
