These photos have been taken a few days ago.

This session is the first one where I have used a external flash which I have bought mont ago (METZ 54 MZ4i).

I think some improvements are seenable. Not complete session is with falsh. I used on some photos continious light.

Comments or critiques are welcome

nice shots there mate

shot 1 is great and i also like the colour version. You have created a very nice tint to the shots making teh skin look great and very natural

which shots did you use the flash in and does this non canonetx flash support all tht fancy auto light balancing and metering that the 430ex does?

Thanks Ken, I think this first session with my new light set up (and using an external flash) is improving my work a litlle bit..... do not know what other think but my opinion is like that.

The photos that i've done with flash are 1,2 and the last two..... if I remember well.

I was consider the 430EX before buying a flash, but also consider 550EX and 580EX and this METZ 54 MZ 4i with canon adapter. I received an information to buy as main flash 550EX or much expensive 580EX buy it hasn't got so much improvements over 550EXin consideration the price. I did not manage to find any 550EX so with the same price of 550EX I've bought Metz.... and I'm satisfied. Yes I think it support all options like 430EX even more (like modeling light, second curtain, TTL, ETTL, HS ETTL, mmilti shoot per defined timeand something special which I did not used till now its second flash for motion light.....).

The Canon flash are better if you want to pair several of them to make a complete studio lights.... that is what I heard.....

I pay for this METZ flash 330EUR.

Oh those with the necklace look familair

Nice shots, I like the first 2 the most.
The others are nice but the first two have the most appeal for me.

1 and 2 are great, I love the lighting in 3 so it's my favorite except for the rail in the bottom left and that damn red font (ouch).

Great shots and awesome model

Well, I have to learn from somebody.... why not from the the best photographer:-)on the forum:|

#3 was with ISO 1600 and #5 with ISO800.... constant light no flash. But I changed my ligh set up with much more light (the stronger also) and including my new flash..... still expecting progres in working with light.

Number one is my favourite.....

Thanks for comments and sorry for me beeingplagiarist.....

hope you don't mind too much

Yes you are right that left part in the dark should not have been placed to be seen.

I like the first three because of the light and colors.
