Jacki is a Los Angeles-based actress and model (you can see her on the big screen in this summer's action movie "Crank"). The Laundromat shots were run and gun (in other words, we didn't have permission to shoot there). The other nighttime shots were done in a pitch black parking lot nearby. Lighting for some of the Laundromat and all of the parking lot was done with two flashes: my 430EX on camera with one of these to diffuse it http://www.takegreatphotos.com/light_reflector.php and my Sunpak 383 with an optical slave adapter on a light stand with a homemade snoot made out of black wrap. The rest of the Laundromat shots were done with a Vivitar 5000 macro ring flash. The studio shots were done with my studio strobes, a couple of these to use as rimlights or to light the back drop http://www.adorama.com/SV45I.html and a 42" silver reflector.

Hi,

Well, personaly thise session is your best performance.....

I prefer studio shoots in technical point of view but an outside shots are also well-done.

#3 is the best one and my choice...and #2 also

The last photo is models best performance and outstanding composition and posing-except for the strong shadows...

I do not know if you were inspired by model :G(great looking) but great job here and will look therest of the photos too....

Rgds Zak

Great to shoot someone like that, love her looks.
And you did well, try to experiment more with composition and maybe a little bit more freaky on the light ?

Greetings,
Frank

Thanks Frank. As soon as this arrives, I should be getting much more freaky!
