as usaual frank, very great pictures... and yes can she pose...

just once again wonderful...

just a thought though, and it may just be me or the lack of sleep, but in the last three her eyes look a little... empty(?) or kind of like i want to see what she is looking at that is out of the cameras view

besides that these are all wonderful... and like i said ill take another look in the morning... i was up all last night studying for chemistry and AP History.

Frank

Excellent photography as usual. However, I must add a few personal observations.

1. She doesn't fit my image of a "pinup girl" -- which is a more innocent/wholesome type of look, not so harsh.

2. The photos/processing has too much of a "plastic" look for my taste.

3. The black underthings in the first 3 photos don't go with what I think of as a pinup shot.

I'm sure some others will totally disagree, but that's just my reaction.

Again, quality stuff from the master.

We will do some more sessions soon, this was the test session so it was all a little bit getting used to each other.

Holy moly, her waist is like 16 inches around! She definitely has the juicy curves you expect for a vintage "pinup" girl. Hot stuff!

Her makeup and clothes are great IMO, nice balance btw retro feel and modern edge. And like you said Frank she strikes some great poses! #1 isfantastic (although maybe a flag w/o yellow fringe?)

#7 is flat out perfection.

However.........I think her bangs ruin her look. too short and too far back on her head. It may be very trendy but it is distracting and notflattering IMHO.

as always, you humble us all

Hey, Frank. Took another look.

Question: Is #3 intended as a statement? Looks like she is wiping her rear end on a Confederate flag. Hope there are no red neck Rebels living in your neighborhood. :-)

I don't make political statements with my work, it's just a pose.
I do however always take care the flag does not hit the ground.

To be honest in the Netherlands people don't care what you do to a flag, I know it's very hard to understand but the people here not that much into the flags.
That's why I use US flags because they stand for power and higher purpose.

In other words I have respect for what I use.
And I can't find that in the Dutch flag.

You know Frank, I've always admired your work and the way you gladly share information on photography so openly. But after reading this simple statement my admiration and respect has grown 10 fold. I don't think some Americans even know not to let the flag touch the ground and some that do know, don't care.

Keep up the excellent work, you've definately grown since you've switched to the 5D. It's as though the more powerful camera has opened up a creative door in your mind.
