#6 She's running for "Miss SAU" in the annual pageant and this was her choice for her entry photo.

hope you enjoy. the editing on all these was a little rushed, but i was pretty happy with them considering the time i had.

4 and 6 are great in composition.
HOWEVER
The shots appear very soft.
One good tip is to focus on the eyes, keep focus lock and make the composition.
This guarantees sharp eyes, the eyes should always be sharp because this is wat the people will look at first.

Lovely model by the way

Thepurples and yellows really compliment each other. Nice. I like the close crop of her face best (imagine that), although it really shows how many coats of mascara she has on! Pageant girls....:?

were you using the new 85mm in this series?

i sure was. love the 85mm

this was a rushed shoot for she needed prints, so i wasn't able to put as much time into it, but that's no excuse, for i will have to get better at those types especially if i'm going to get into the industry.

frank, probably a stupid question...
so forgive me, but...when you say "keep focus lock" are you talking about a certain type of lock on the camera, or actually just making sure the eyes are in focus (i'm sure both, but i was just making sure you weren't talking about some type of feature i might need to look into.)

thanks for the quick response, my God this forumn is amazing.

much appreciated.
