Zak - the first shot is great! I love the sparkle on her earing. Reminds me of some "Lenscrafter" ads running here in the US. #2-3 are also nice. #5 is also nice but the pose seems a bit awkward. I don't really care for the B&W treatment/strong shadowon #4.

I love #1 as well... would be an excellent glasses ad or a nice stock image, but I despise the sparkle! I think it ruins the photo by taking attention away from the model.

But what do I know?

Nice work.

I do understand your desire to put them there... maybe something very subtle, like a cross-starburst pattern instead of a sphere of light?

first 3 shots are exceptional. I love the lighting in these shots, very nice. the red backing also suits the black clothing very well.

#1 I say! Looks like an Oxford graduate with the glasses You've captured avery confident and wittyexpression of hers! Ah the sparklecan onlyaccompany her bright look,IMO,rather than stealing from it.

For the 5thone, I'd agree with Peter. Besides, somewhat submissive and mild tone in it does not very much fit the serial, I feel.

Hi Zak!

Nice photos, I agree w Ken, it shows a real step in quality.. you're continuing to improve... thanks for sharing. Red background and range of poses is interesting, and good!

I prefer the "non sparkle" version of photo 1... (though I think such things are very subjective!)

Photo 2, the forearm seems justa bit too overexposed / bright compared to the rest (e.g. face complexion...)

3. my least fav out of the bunch (again just personal opinion). Maybe the shadow on the left side of her face or something else doesn't cut it for me... though it's not at all a bad photo

4. I think this has HUGE potential, her looks could match this well.. Though she seems a bit far away (or we need a LARGER photo...) Shadow (and it's being cut off a bit) does seem a bit awkward (as Peter sais), though with work (and background change) it might come out super well!

5. I actually like the post and don't find it awkward (I think differently about this that Peter). Maybe because my wife often sits on the bed in this position! Really!

Thanks for sharing... Keep going with your development! Well done.

Paul
