Hereare a few pics from a recent shoot. It was for a local Musical Theatre Company and their production of Jekyll & Hyde.I did the shoot in return for advertising space in the brochure. The venue was in the ruins ofFurness Abbey, a 700 year old Cistertion Monastery, the placereally has an atmosphere.

Nikon D200, tamron 28-75 2.8 ,SB600 w stofen omnibounce

The final pic was used for the Advertising posters and the front cover of the brochure.I had to shoot 2 seperate faces and overlay them in CS2.

Thanks for looking

Second one is stunning.
The last one is very nice.

BUT on the other ones the light is rather harsch, try to get a more evening or morning time next time, it will give you much better/softer light.

Greetings,
Frank

I had a problem with the sunlight and lost a few pics to blown highlights.I had a small time frame to shoot. They had been doing a dress rehearsal all morining and most of the people didn`t want to hang around, with a 40 strong cast I had to work fast.It turns out they only wanted pics of the main cast.

I won`t be doing promotional work for them again,I supplied the pictures on a disk for printing, along with my usual copyright notice and ICC profile.Someone who thinks they know Photoshop had edited my pictures before print resulting in some of the worst B&W conversions/ cropping I`ve ever seen

Needless to say I`m not a happy camper , you learn from your mistakes!!!

Thanks for the replies
