Hello:

I hesitate to post on this forum, because ya'll seem to be way out of my league, but oh, well. It's the only way to learn, so I'm going to just jump in! (Deep breath ... )

I love portraits, and especially those taken outside the studio. Alot of my pictures from yesterday's trip to the outdoor Texas Renaissance Faire came out very well, but I had a lot of problem with the exposure on the stage shots. My candids also suffered because of the crowded conditions. In this instance, I tried to blur the background a bit in PS, but don't think I was very successful.

Any and all critique or comments would be most welcome. (There are more Renaissance Festival pics posted on the Sony forum if any one is interested.)

Thanks in advance! Ria

Very cool capture, Ria! I love her eye expression. Don't worry about your posts... chances are if you find it interesting, someone else on this forum is going find it interesting as well! I'm sure that shots of a belly dancer will be found interesting by more than one warm-blooded male!!!

Keep them coming!
