I caught these two just after a kiss. If I was a second or two faster I would of got them kissing I shot this pic while onour honeymoon in Barcelona.

Thanks for looking,

Chris

I've been toying with the idea of adding the top of the boat myself.

The drink bottle the lady is holding is distracting.

You know I get the feeling the poor guy might have not been able to ask them to put the bottle down and that had he had time to get the sailboat in at the time, he would have also been able to get them kissing as well, but alas he wasn't at the time quick enough. No use saying something stupid like "the bottle she is holding is distracting" its a candid shot for christs sake.

I just don't get people sometimes. really I don't. I realise the shot was done with basically no setup and for what you did get mate, it is a nice candid. Bottle and all. In fact I think the bottle makes it look even more natural. We don't all just sit perfectly facing each other when we want to get intimate and make sure there is nothing around to distract us. It just doesn't happen that way normally.

So nice shot.

I hesitate to start anything controversial and don't intend to. I realize that this isn't in the critiques section, but I don't think it's unfair to express an opinion if something is distracting. Sometimes all you can say is great shot, but I think we all like to hear if something can be done to improve a shot, either in camera or PP.

The idea of the shot is great. The composition tells the story - gives you a good idea of the location. It feels spontaneous and fits in with the photographers mindset at the time, ie honeymoon. If it can be made better and get other's minds to the same place, even better.

Attached is 4 minutes in photoshop. ( I suppose I could have given a bit more to the top of the sailboat.)
