These are really beautiful shots Frank.

I like the effect in #2 of the models hand reaching through the smoke.

Wow, every one of those are great... Did you just use a flash for the bright light in the background?

Background is one flash indeed.
This session is by the way included on the new instructional DVD.

What instructional DVD do you speak of?

I allready have one out for English called A guide to modelphotography.
We are now working on the second one called inside look, it will be released on the pro imaging fair in the Netherlands on 11 March.

Please mail me for more info, I don't want my commerce on the forum.

Greetings,
Frank

Brilliant model. Probably the best facial expressions I think I've seen you have. Shot 1 is easily the best.

However, I have a couple of issues with the atmosphere in the other shots.

1. I think the bright light somewhat ruins the photographs. Yes, it's supposed to be a moon and the glow is good, but I'm not sure I like the "pure" nature of it. A bit of messing around with shapes, shadows and stuff / freehand photoshop to get the moon a bit more 'real'.

2. The smoke. It works with the first shot, because it's like a mist, lying there. Well done doing that that. However, the other shots, and in particularly the last shot, look like this shot has been taken in a cigar bar. Not nice at all.

These two points are in now way a criticism of your photography technique. You've proved many times over that you are excellent. I like the originality of the shots as what you've tried to do is by no means easy I'm sure, but I think in some of the photographs, unfortunatly the atmosphere has ruined the photo.
