So let me get this straight... you have a drop-dead gorgeous girlfriend, and she buys you camera gear?

You must have done something very good in your previous life!

Seriously, the only reason I'm not (too) jealous of you is that you obviously put your camera to very good use, and so you deserve to have quality gear. And since your girlfriend is buying it for you, I guess in her mind you deserve to have her, too!

Can't wait to see your vacation pics...

P.S. I agree 100% with Scotious.
thank you for the very kind words

Yea, im very lucky and she really is great.

Well i hope the weather is nice in pauanui. Its summer at the moment here in nz but unfortunately here that doesnt men much. the weather changes so fast and not always for the better.

thanks again for your comments

Gdaymate

Iagree with Scotious also!

Some guys have all the luck! What's your trick?

On a more serious note, great images. I love #1, again more sharpness in her eyes would have been better but it's still a captivating photo.

Also love #2 & #6 just because they're beautiful. Great colours too. Isn't it great having summer in the northern hemispheres winter!

Enjoy the holiday I'm sure you will!

THanks for your comments mate

i relly appreciate it

Yea, i can really see that a bigger portion of ppl do like the more natural looking shots. This is very interesting.

Yea well we leave in a few days, so i will be offline for a while but hopefully when i get back i should have a ton of portraits and landscape work of the incredible pauanui coast line.

thanks again

ken

#2 is wonderful, look at the DOF and the pose/composition.
The other ones are nice but 2 really jumps out.
