Default Lying on the Lake Bank

I feel there is something wrong in this shot or that something is missing.

Does somebody else have the same feeling ?

Any answer is welcomed.

P.S. :

- Canvas Resize in order to have people in the middle of the frame
- Radial Blur filter, Zoom Type
- Canvas cropping to the original shot area.

Interesting photo....

It appears shot from a moving vehicle

The subjects (people) do not have quite
enough detail to evoke interest, imho.

Oddly, the photo reminds of a painting by
either Winslow Homer or Andrew Wyeth...
cannot quite recall

Great place for a picnic!

I like it.

Reminds me of some sorta creature stalking its pray with like wall vision. Perhaps alien?

It strains my eyes to look at it for more than a few seconds. Especially the upper right corner. Its a bit too much with the radial blur for me :-)

Well, I didn't know of Winslow Homer.
So I typed it in my Google toolbar and found intersting images.
You are right : photo reminds his style.
And maybe this two boys picture ...

Well, I like art fakes, so I couldn't help making a new one in a hurry    :

Yes, I used a value of 8 as a trade off in this image. Original image was 2200x1700 and has become 2400x2200 when I enlarged the canvas to have people in the middle to apply radial blur.
Right Top corner is thus the most distant one and the "sea sick" effect is great !

Thanx for your comments.

I was wondering : wouldn't it have been better taking the shot at the same level of the two guys ? What do you think about ?
