Default Preacher

This Preacher was at Lake Erie in Cleveland, praising God the morning of Sept. 11, 2002 (one year after 911). I was mesmerized. I always look at this photo when I need hope!

This is excellent. Moving image. Third rule applied it would be even stronger IMHO. Well done.

regards
Martin.

I agree with Martin.
If you crop the photo in such a way that the preacher fits in the last third of the image the impact is impressive.
Do you have some extra "sea" on the left part ?

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm so new at photography as an art form (I don't know it but I know what I like!) and I'll have to look up what the "third rule" is (among other things...)

This is the complete image. I didn't get a wider view, so I can't expand any beach view on either side. Still, it's good practice!

Reminds of Moses commanding the Red Sea to part, very effective.

Great shot, and yes the picture would have looked dramtically better with a bit more sea and sky but as it stands it is very good.
