A great shot. Did you try it as black and white? I think it adds to the drama. Even still, it's composed nicely the way it is.

In the B&W pics the eyes are more white. I your original pic the eye had a yellow tinge to it. The eyes are very important in portraits, including color. A yellow eye looks unnatural, sickly. Try whitening the eyes either by masking the eyes and changing them alone or do a white balance on the eyes. I would try to go with the first, the second one might loose the wanted effect
