Grabbed a couple of shots after shooting the teams at work. My colleague Toni was keen to have a couple of shots taken however we only had a couple of mins so I did a quick light adjustment and grabbed this one. I only had a chance to get this and another shot so really happy.

Now I'm sure I could do a lot better so please do add tips and advice.

Very nice shot of a beautiful woman.

Her clothes are dark and there's nothing in the background, so her face is the only thing to look at (which, in and of itself, isn't a bad thing.) Because the lighting is offset and she's facing down, her nose might appear unfairly prominent. I think I might have her raise her head a little, or bring the lighting closer to the center, or use a fill flash, something to make the shadow of her nose less noticeable.

I tried adjusting the brightness, and might have lightened it a little (perhaps just enough to see somedetail in her top), but I like that it's a darkish image. It makes her beautiful brown eyes stand out.

But all of this is really picking nits. She's beautiful, and you captured her image very well.

Very nice picture. Model is great. Considering the circumtances , you have managed to catch a great image.
Directional lighting has very well worked out here.

Probably should have lifted her head slightly to shorten the nose, as for the shadows I was looking to shape the face with the light so a fill would not have helped out here.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"I need to find more willing volunteers to help me try more things out as this is so new to me and she was the first person who was keen to try something but just lacked time..... oh well.
