Great portrait Josh - great face.

You could crop it tighter in the right side and maybe blur the background, just to focus more on the photographic face of mr. Burnett!

Once again.....hehe.....great photo!
I like it very much. I actually like the squares in the background. It is a great contrast to the man.

Klaus, as I get better at photography, I am using techniques endorsed by Steve's members and a book I recently bought on clearance for $2.99. I have learned practical pictures I would noramlly take where the persons head is smack dab in the middle of the shot is not always the most visually pleasing. Do you really think I should crop out the space on the right side?

Looks great as is! It looks as though your subject has had too much malt liquor though.

Yes I do Joshua.

The only reason for this is because you chose to crop your shot from the beginning. If you had kept your original size (35mm format ?) you would have done it right by placing the guy in one of the sides of the shot. But with a square (!) frame like this - I think it looks like a mistake... Please dont get me wront - I like the shot - but the cropping...no!
