I really don't have much reason to go back and visit except to be a tourist I guess. The last nine years has been trying having lost three grandparents, two aunts and both my parents. All of them had a hand in raising me while I lived in Hawai'i, save one grandmother whowas from Rochester, New York.
If your raised in hawaii, you'll never be a tourist here... You come home to visit. That's the magic of being one of the lucky few who call this place home.

I like every last one of those shots. The guy on the scooter is funny to me for some reason. My brother lived in Rochester for awhile. I live in Buffalo. I can't wait unil it warms up a little more so that I can try my hand at the candids. Once again really nice work.

You are so right about that. Thanks for the "aloha plenty". I sure miss home and there truly is no place like Hawai'i. I am fortunate to have been raised there and know the "Spirit of Aloha".

Mahalo Plenty,

Komaki (aka. one "Kolohe" buggah)

I plan on coming home in Sept. 09.

Tom,
I enjoyed looking, some really great shots! #4 is my favorite too. I was going to ask if it was posed for you but after reading your post above I realized it's not. Great shot.

very nice shots. The guy on the scooter made me laugh! And the girl with the dog made me smile. At starbucks, I really like the guy IN the shop.
