Friends invited me to their wedding in Egypt so as a Wedding present I offered to shoot the day for them as they had already blown their budget.

All shot with Canon5D and 24-105 f4L or 70-200mm f2.8 L

I won't go intotoo much detailat the moment but boy are things different to what I'm used to with UK weddings. Most notablyeveryone moves where and when they want, so I'm jostling for position with Aunt whatever her name might be which made things interesting. I'm used to being the only one who moves, and even so I don't get in the way or become a distraction...... hmmmm this was different.

As ever please let me know what you think.

Mark

Very nice. I especially like #4, #6 and #10. They look so vivid and colorful.

...which also makes me find'wedding' most challenging subject among the ones I tried! Oh, someone's arm or sloulder intervenes the frame upsetting thecomposition you acquire instantaneously asthe camera hasjust focused:evil:

Anyway, I quite liked your capturesconveying people's happiness and enthusismAll very vivid!! Such a cheerful and 'happy natured' bride it seems ( her father, too!) Btw,the groom's facial featuresreminded methat of Ramesses the Great: )

Thanks guys, glad you like them. It certainly was an eye opener when it comes to weddings but I'm sure being 6'6" tall gave me an advantage over the average Egyptian LOL.

Mark,

You did a great job of bringing out the personality of the couple.

With just a few shots, I feel like I know this couple and want them to succeed!

I suspect you probably get a fair share of wedding requests!
