Well im not one for standing in front of the camera so until this changes my avatar will have to do. :P melanie's avatar is actually the inspiration for my own one....I wanted to have an avatar with me (somewhat) in it and where I love to spend my free time.

Name: Trent Kylan McKay (hence the user name)
Born: March 1st, 1977 in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada I moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada when I was 3 and have lived her ever since.
I work for the same company now for about 8 years....basically since just after high school. Its your standard service industry job... I don't think the finer details really matter. :P I'm also attending school full time working towards a B-Comm with the hopes of moving into accounting. I do have a certificate in forestry from a few years back which lead to nothing. Actually it could have lead to some possitions but they paid less and were in the middle of know where compared to the job I was working.

No pets, no kids, no wife..... well yet....I do have a girl friend of about a year now. I have two brothers, 1 younger and 1 older who both also live in Calgary as do my parents still. Yea, none of us have moved to far from home. :P

Hobbies.... I love computers, plain and simple and currently have 8 running systems ranging from a 750mhz T-bird to a 2.1ghz AXP all running 24/7. Why so many you ask? Well i'm a large fan of distributed computing projects and currently have [email protected] running on all of them. I also like the fact that im ranked #441 out of 267627 people who are or have run [email protected] Other hobbies.... well I love watching and going to movies, hanging out with friends, hiking, road trips, and going to the local Tim's for a coffee.

Favourite Music type: very hard to choose....I like alot of different music but don't really care for country or hardcore rap. Anything else is fair game. The cd currently in my car is "The Tragically Hip: Road Apples" but for the most part I buy sound tracks since they tend to offer the best "bang for the buck".
Favourite Movie: Another hard choice.... how about one I recently watched that I can't stop talking about? Bowling for Columbine. All I can say is WOW.
Favourite drink: non-alcohol would be Tim Hortons coffee... make mine an extra large double double. Adult type... currently "A Marca Bavaria" beer.

Thats about it.....for now.

I drag raced cars for a number of years. Now all I do is take pictures of them... I built a full frame Camaro with coil-over shocks, roll cage, and ladder bars that ran [email protected] with a 306 cubic inch motor.

I thought that was fast. I can't imagine running 8.78 on a bike! Take care...

Default Hi Everyone

Hey - I haven't been here in a while but I'm back.

My name is Yitz and I'm 28, single and living in Toronto - I'm just a having fun with my Nikon 4500 and I work as a print/web designer. My 1year contract at this medical co. is ending tomorrow so I will be looking for something new or maybe go back to school for photography or industiral design. undecided. If someone has any other suggestions to point me in the right direction - please let me know. :P

Let's see what else. I would like one day to travel to New Zealand and SouthEast Asia. And I think I should move to a place with more sun.

Hmm. That's all for now. Here is a picture I posted a while back of my neice Maya. She is great.

Hi! I've only posted a couple of times, but enjoy reading and looking at your pics. I just begun in photography and already learned a lot from you. Thanks

Ok,My name is Yvon and I'm 24. I'm from Québec, Canada, and live near Montréal. I'm a french canadian, so my english is not very good. I'm also happily surprised that nobody seems to care here
I'm single and work as an helicopter pilot since 2000. I guess that's why I started taking pictures, I have the opportunuty to see very nice places. My other interests are travelling, rock climbing, skiing and trekking.

Here is one of the only pics of me I have. It's me on the left, with a friend I met in Peru, Falk.

I guess that's it

take care!

Vitriol--

Don't ever apologize for your ability to speak or write in a language other than your native one. Most of us here in the U.S. can't speak or write anything but English. We're the ones who should be apologizing!

Well put.

Personally (as I said in my writeup) I have dyslexia in every form ever found. I've never had a single person here comment on the mistakes I make... and I make some good ones (droping words, like "not", really can confuse people!) Everyone here has been very nice. It's part of the reason I come back!
