There's a lot to like about this shot.

Nice model, nice clothes, nice black background.

You've really made her red hair and complexion work with the dark tones
of the clothes and the backdrop.

The shot feels just a tad over-exposed, however.

Still, a great shot!

thanks!! there was a bit of a flash/tungsten whitebalance issue- her hair isn't actually red!

Thanks for your comment - i will watch the exposure in the future!

I have a sony alpha 200, picked up an old 50mm minolta maxxum f1.7 on ebay! fits the mount, works perfectly.

Nice shot. I do also agree about the lens... I recently purchased that same lens and it is great.

I personally dont see this as being at all over exposed, imho, for what its worth. nice shot, indeed.
