Our church is perfoming a Radio version of "It's a wonderful life". Our band is doing jazz/swing music from the 40's era.

These are actors in the play

Part of our church's worship team, vocalists and musicians. My bride is the little brunette on the right in the front row. Isn't she beautiful? I tell my friends, "I out-kicked my coverage when I married her"

Looks like a bit of fun. What were you shooting with (camera/lens), also it seems you have quite a bit of noise, what settings were you using?

Would have been cool to hear the music too.

The first photo was shot during rehearsal. And I was not suppose to interfere with the rehearsal as I shot.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"The photo (the three guys at the mics) was taken from about 125 feet away with low light. ISO 1600 178mm (lens f2.8 Sigma 70-200) White Balance was auto and I was holding the camera in my hands.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"The second photo ( guy & girl ) was taken against a black curtain, really low ceiling in the choir room with florscent lights. ISO 400 F4 1/60 second, 50mm 1.8 canon lens.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Now, the photo of Jubal........ This was shot with a tripod AND using the timer for shutter release. f4 1/60 sec iso 400 28mm, high ceiling, external flash/fong's light sphere.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"My biggest complaint the photo of the cast is that people choose to hide their faces behind other people after I moved them to a spot where they could be seen. Grrrrrrrr.

Mark1616, when you say "noise", which photo(s) are you referencing?

Second, what exactly is noise and how can I eliminate it or not create it in the first place?

Did you get the mp3 I sent you via your website address?
