Another memorable image from you which shakes the beholder to ponder about! The crack, as simple also put above, serves quite well in many ways! Reading your blog I also admire your appreciation of the bygone masters...Btw, Vermeer's diagonal arrangement of the floor tiles doesn't go unnoticed as well as the Rembrandt lighting effect you spoke of ; )

@simple, I'm glad you like the shot and I'm also pleased that you find that lighting diagram helpful, it's a feature I intend to continue with all my portrait work.

@Bahadir thanks friend...Vermeer...it comes as know surprise that you are acquainted with the works of the master of perspective!!

Well, after all baroque painting (as with everthing related to baroque!!) has always been among my favourite subjects...But exploiting its merits in one's art as you do, is far more rewarding than talking about it as I often do Btw, I second simple regarding your Blog; which doesn't promote and tolerate mediocre jobs ; )

i really like what you have done here. everything in this photo meshes well with the atmosphere you were trying to evoke. the wardrobe is great, the addition of the gloves was a really nice touch. the placement of the prosthesis are great, and the background works well. the processing further strengthens it. this is a wonderful image, and one where all the pieces work together quite perfectly.
