Default Android / Cyborg Relations

Hi guys,

I Recently acquired a new mobile - The HTC Hero which utilises Googles Android mobile operating system.

I think that the phone is an incredible piece of technology and so decided to create a shot around it.

Any feedback would be welcomed.

A nice big version can be viewed HERE

Read about this shot and others at my Photoblog:

Creepy and well done. It looks like a frame from a movie and leads the imagination to a whole lot more frames from that same movie. Very Philip K. Dickish.

Strong! Those animal nails are a nightmare. And the idea of a portrait in the movil is great. It's like a person's transfusion.
In my monitor it's somewhat dark, tho. Can't see details of the cable and the "plug". Maybe adding some light here and there.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, much appreciated!

@Simple, many thanks for the kind words, I'm really pleased that you like my work!
@Ordo, I'm working on a calibrated monitor and the knife and cable are visible although after looking at things again they could be lightened a touch. Thanks for picking that out.
@Bynx...I'm a big fan PKD, Ubix and the The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch are my favourites!

very creepy image. i love it! i think it really does represent the modern era of hyper-communiction. well done.

did you try a version with the earpiece buried in the arm a bit? may add to the shock value, idk.

Hi, thanks for the comments. I did try other techniques for embedding the usb into the arm but they looked too fake, so I decided with this one....:-)
