elements 7 is a good introduction i use it myself just one of the few i use LOL

elements 7
photomatix pro
easyhdr
dynamic hdr
portriat pro
qimage studio for printing

the list would never end but my pockets are not that deep LOL

Thanks Simon! I think I'm going to start with Elements 7 then. Someday, I would like to try HDR too. Your photos are most impressive! But, I need to get a tripod first!

the tripod must come first hiro.... i also use a small remote to trigger the camera when using the tripod to ensure minimun movement ive also just purchased a camera hotshoe level hoping to try it out in the morning
